Tabio Shorts
These high-waisted shorts are made from a mustard & navy striped fabric hand-woven on a pedal loom by Juan Pablo Romero in Tabio, Colombia. Juan Pablo is the first artisan we work with outside Mexico, he hand-weaves all his fabrics at his home in the town of Tabio 1 hour outside Bogota. After graduation he decided to start weaving and has been creating textiles for over 26 years. This is a light and breathable fabric that will be great for any transitional weather and gets even softer with wear. The last photos are of the weaving process at Juan Pablo’s home.
